i2i Recruitment is B Corp™ Certified
We are delighted to share that after a 6-month process, i2i Recruitment has been awarded B Corp™ certification.
Being a family-owned recruitment business, we are 1 of only 7 B Corporations of that kind in the world! We join 3119 B Corporations in the UK and around 40 B Corporations in Gloucestershire (which is still growing) who are working towards the goal of people over profit.
What is B Corp™?
A company is awarded certification by B Lab, a non-profit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
This movement aims to transform the global economy to put the stakeholders of a business first. This means employees, customers, the local community and the environment to name a few.
This is more sustainable for people and the planet than the traditional business model which prioritises profit above all else, creating an incentive to transform businesses into a force for good.
Our Journey
Starting in April 2024, our team had to go through B Labs Impact Assessment, a rigorous assessment which outlines 5 key areas in which we have to answer wholeheartedly along with evidence.
The key areas are Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
From these answers, a score is tallied called a B Impact Score which, to qualify for B Corp Certification, must be over 80.
(Were not talking about getting 5 points because you recycle cardboard, the questions are an intimate look at the company and everything it stands for.)
i2i Recruitment scored a very respectable 84.4, for the first run, and we couldn’t be happier.

Our Commitment
Putting the candidate first is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s the way our company is naturally orientated, we pride ourselves on Making Recruitment Personal.
i2i has a long history of investing in its community through charitable giving and volunteering and commits to continue to do so going forward. Our mission is to make a positive impact not only on our clients, candidates, and employees but also on our local community and the planet.
Social Commitment
Locally, we believe in the power of quality jobs to transform lives and the importance of supporting local young people into pathways to those jobs. That’s why we currently work with local schools such as Dean Close, Balcarras and Cheltenham Bournside to support skills such as CV writing, Interview Workshops, Personal Statements and Cover Letters.
We have committed to one volunteering day a year for every staff member, increasing our school workshop programme and formalising a commitment to charitable donations with the likes of CCP and other partners.
Environmental Commitment
Although, as a service company, we’re a relatively low environmental impact model, we believe all businesses have a responsibility to measure and reduce their carbon footprint
We’re conscious that our GHG emissions primarily come from our office facility energy usage, therefore we’re primarily focusing on reducing that. We aim to be Carbon Neutral by the end of 2025.
